In 2004, our first ever order of 9 theater chairs was custom built in an old abandoned barn in
Aldergrove, BC. 15 years later, Elite HTS has grown from those humble beginnings to a new
state-of-the-art facility which produces the highest quality custom theatre seating built by
craftsmen with an intricate attention to detail and best quality.
Weighing over 60lbs, our industrial strength, ‘thick and chunky’ motorized recline mechanism is
whisper quiet and engineered for commercial VIP cinemas. As opposed to manual recline,
power recline allows you to precisely recline the chair to the optimum position and viewing
A wall hugger recliner allows the chair to be placed only 4” from the wall behind it. This can be
very beneficial for theatres with limited space and depth.
Weighing over 170lbs(77kg) Elite HTS theatre chairs are the heaviest on the market. Most of this
weight consists of a frame that uses a combination of steel and premium wood which provides
excellent structural integrity and support. Built for decades of use.
Whether purchasing a theater chair in Italian Valentino Leather, buttery soft Silk Leather or cozy
CineSuede, you can be assured that only the highest grade materials are used. Our upholsterers
and fabric cutters give precise attention to detail which results in sharp seams, exquisite
stitching and pattern matches.
Our dual cushion system featuring our proprietary Marshmallow Foam provides optimal
weight distribution for the thighs and buttocks while relieving pressure buildup, thereby
providing multiple hours of comfort and enjoyment. Available in soft, medium or firm.
We use only the finest, hand-picked wood with the most beautiful, natural woodgrains. We do
not use any artificial, simulated or laminate wood.
We collaborated with renowned Chiropractor Dr. Grant O’Neill to create a theater chair which
provides optimal ergonomic support and comfort while still staying soft and cushy. After much
tweaking and adjustments of various foam types, placement and angles, the final creation is,
in our humble opinion, the most comfortable theater chair ever made.
Made of top quality metals, our scratch and chip resistant cup holders are made to withstand a
lifetime of use. The extra wide 3.5” inside diameter can accommodate the largest of soft drinks
or even a bottle of wine.
Many of our various clients and designers send us their own fabric and leather. It’s always fun
and interesting for us to see unique and exotic looking chairs that are shipped out every day.
Like snowflakes, rarely are two orders ever the same.
