Build Your Custom Theater Chair

Design Options for your Home Theater Seating

When it comes to designing your custom home theater seating, the sky’s the limit. From choosing a material to selecting the perfect chair style, there are endless ways to personalize the look and feel of your cinema seats.

Here’s just a taste of the many design options available.

Two-tone upholstery

Not many people know about this option, but when a two-tone design request comes in, our sales and production teams buzz with excitement because the result is always stunning.

It’s great fun seeing the design combinations that our clients create for their home cinemas and media rooms. With your choice of two or more different colors or two or more different materials, this option allows you to create a look that’s uniquely yours.

Two-tone upholstery is available for our cuddle couch and all our regular home theater seating with the exception of our promotional C1-M model.

Specialty wood and high gloss

Nothing adds more elegance to your home theater seats than our specialty wood trim. If you really want to impress your guests, add even more luxury with a high gloss or satin finish.

Pictured below are Elite’s 6 specialty veneers: Macassar Ebony, Rosewood, White Oak, Maple Burl, Ash, and, Walnut Burl. Contact our sales team to discuss other specialty veneer options.

In addition to our exotic wood varieties, we also offer custom staining, so if you have a particular stain in mind, send us your ideas and we’ll help you bring your vision to life.

Piping

One customization option that adds instant luxury to your home theater is piping.

Contrast piping is a popular option as it adds a pop of color to your cinema seats, though you can also request piping in the same color as your seats to add texture and sophistication.

Please note that piping can be upholstered in Cine-Suede and Silk Leather; it’s not available for Valentino Leather as the leather is too difficult to bend.

Quilting

Quilting can be placed anywhere on your chair for a touch of glamor, although it is most frequently positioned on the headrest and at the top of the armrests. This stylish option adds sophistication and really sets your home theater apart.

Tacking

You may have noticed that our L-series and Q-series armrests feature a versatile accessory that complements many design styles: our elegant tacking option.

Depending on the style of your home theater, as well as the backrest, material, and colour selected for your seats, these armrest styles can work beautifully in both traditional and modern home cinemas.

Our tacks are available in a variety of colors to suit every taste, and while they only come along the front and back of the armrest, they can be added to other locations upon request.
